Most Mexican grocery stores carry a large variety of candies which are both sold prepackaged from major candy manufacturers or homemade by local cooks and bakers. But, you don't necessarily have to head to the market to enjoy these delicious treats.
If you want to try your hand at making some homemade Mexican candies by yourself or with your family, there are many simple recipes available in cookbooks or online.
One of my favorites is a sweet citrus fudge candy that my wife makes during the holidays. The only thing I don't enjoy about it is sharing it with friends and family. I hope your family enjoys it, too.
